Logging

There are few reasons of resource depletion. One of the reason is logging.

What is logging?

Basically, logging is the process of cutting trees, skidding, on-site processing, and loading of trees or logs onto trucks or skeleton cars. There are two categories of logging which are selective and the other one is clear cutting. Selective logging is selective where the loggers choose wood that is high valued whereas clear cutting is not selective where the loggers do not choose the woods.

The effect of logging
There are many disadvantages of logging. One of the disadvantage that we can see is loss of bio-diversity. This means a lot of species will lost their habitat, source of food and also shelter.
Extinction of animals
Logging has serious effects on these , causing countless species of animals to lose their homes at an alarming rate.
Orangutan species is critically endangered
Panda is one of the species that is also endangered
When there is a lot of logging activities, it can lead to resource depletion where it takes time for tree to growth.
